State Agency Activity

In addition to the legislature, many other state agencies contribute to tobacco control policy in California.  For example the Air Resources Board can make rulings related to outdoor air quality and secondhand smoke and the Board of Equalization oversees the administration of cigarette and tobacco product taxes and tobacco licensing statutes.  The Center produces updates about policy activity at these state agencies when relevant action occurs.
