The mission of the Center for Tobacco Policy and Organizing is to help all Proposition 99 funded organizations wage effective tobacco control policy campaigns. No matter where you are in the local policy development process, the Center is here to assist you with trainings, support and effective strategies to help you achieve success!
The following are a few of the services the Center can offer you:

Local or Regional Trainings – Center staff will conduct half or full-day trainings in your local community or region. Among the topics for trainings offered are: community organizing strategies, using the strategy chart, campaign phases, coalition building and facilitation, recruiting campaign activists, and more.

Campaign Consultation – The Center can help you manage a policy campaign by offering a wide array of services including campaign planning, meeting facilitation, polling data and analysis, media advice and message crafting.

Direct Phone Call Consultations – The Center will gladly assist local lead agencies and tobacco control coalitions with over the phone advice and consultation about specific policy problems that you're facing.
The Center's services are FREE to all organizations supported by Proposition 99 funds.
