The Center tracks all tobacco-related bills that have been introduced in the California Legislature.
There are several ways to learn more information about any of these bills. First, you can utilize the
Bill Tracking feature to get the most up-to-date information on tobacco-related bills including a bill
summary, status update, vote details, list of supporters and opponents and links to any news coverage.
Another way to learn about these bills is to read the legislative updates, which are produced regularly
and contain a lot of the same information that the Bill Tracking feature has plus additional context
about the legislative schedule and legislative process. Finally, the Center produces an annual vote
record that reports on the final status of each bill and contains information on how every legislator voted
on the tobacco-related bills for that year.
